Pro-choice since 1988

Located in Sherbrooke (Quebec, Canada), SOS Grossesse Estrie is a community organization that offers a listening and support service to anyone experiencing an unplanned pregnancy or a difficult pregnancy situation.

SOS Grossesse Estrie offers free, confidential, bilingual, pro-choice help for women, girls, trans and non-binary people, as well as those close to them: partners, caregivers, friends, family, etc.

Our intervention philosophy

At SOS Grossesse Estrie, we believe in each person’s ability to make their own choices. This philosophy enables us to help people make their own choices in the face of an unexpected pregnancy, while respecting their values, beliefs, experiences, etc., without ever seeking to influence or advise them, thus leaving them full control over their lives.

The inclusion of all genders and sexually diverse individuals is a fundamental value at SOS Grossesse Estrie. Although the term “woman” is used on our website and in our communications, it includes anyone who identifies as a woman, as well as anyone who has a uterus or can experience pregnancy, regardless of their gender identity or expression. We continually strive to create an environment of compassion and belonging, where the entire LGBTQ2SIA+ community is supported, valued, and respected.
